Updating the Solarix cable database in Fluke Networks testers
Solarix installation cables have been included in the cable manufacturer database for Fluke Networks testers for several years. A new firmware version for the DSX series (i.e., DSX 5000 and DSX 8000) was recently released, designated V6.4, which also updated the Solarix cable database.
All Solarix cables with fire reaction class B2ca s1 d1 a1 in categories 6, 6A, 7, 7A, and 8, as well as other new cables, have been added to this database. Therefore, when you use these devices—which you can also rent from us—to measure your Solarix installation, you won’t need to manually set the cable properties (e.g., the NVP parameter) before taking a measurement. Instead, simply select the correct Solarix installation cable from the cable list, and all cable-related settings will be applied automatically.
