Solarix Certification Training
Who is this training intended for?
This type of training is designed for installation companies.
When and where does the training take place?
We organize this training twice a year in Prague and Brno (or their immediate vicinity), and it is scheduled as a two-day event (i.e., day one focuses on copper cabling, day two on fiber optic cabling and racks). What will you learn at the training?
In addition to the theoretical foundations of structured cabling, the Solarix training for installation companies emphasizes practical skills related to the installation of structured cabling components, proper measurement techniques, troubleshooting errors detected by measuring instruments, etc. The training is divided into the following sections:
A) Day One
B) Day Two
What is the outcome of the training?
All participants will receive a certificate authorizing them to provide a 20- or 30-year system warranty on Solarix products (more information on the system warranty here). In addition to this certificate, each participant will take away the materials used during the training (i.e., printed presentations, product catalogs, etc.). Furthermore, each installation company will receive a set of Solarix component samples and tools. The participant's training certificate is valid for 3 years.

- Copper Cabling Part I - what structured cabling is, an overview of the most important standards, cabling categories and classes, differences between them, typical installations
- Copper Cabling Part II - cable construction, fire reaction classes, selecting suitable installation cables and components, structured cabling and PoE
- Cabling Measurement - measurement topologies, types of measuring instruments, performance parameters, what to do when a parameter fails the measurement
- Installation Best Practices - key installation procedures and technical information regarding structured cabling installation, highlights from the ČSN EN 50174 standard
- Workshop Session - measuring with Fluke Networks certification instruments, installing a test link
- Final Test
B) Day Two
- Fiber Optic Cabling Part I - principles of optical signal transmission, types of optical fibers and their practical applications, optical cable construction
- Fiber Optic Cabling Part II - types of optical connectors and ferrule polishing properties, laying optical cables, fiber termination, measuring instruments and measurement techniques
- Installation Best Practices - key installation procedures and technical information regarding Fiber optics cabling installation, highlights from the ČSN EN 50174 standard
- Workshop Session- installing fiber optic cables and panel, splicing, and measurement
- Final Test
